Chef Andrew Selz is owner and founder of Chef Selz Inc. is located in Pensacola FL. Chef Selz forte is exclusive private events and specializes in culinary education whether it is in a private home, corporate environment or large fundraisers. Chef Selz Inc. is a unique concept that is the newest form of entertainment. Chef Selz also specializes in research and development for which he has developed his own gourmet product line from his research and development kitchen and is in specialty stores.

Currently Chef Selz is involved with a program, Adopt a Ship, which he donates his time to educate crew members of our countries Navy fleet on basic culinary skills and techniques. His forte in public appearances and many appearances on local television has given him the opportunity to pursue a career with national television networks. Chef Selz was the executive co-producer and host of his recent show “ Navy Chef Challenge” which aired on the Food Network in January 2005. Chef Selz is currently writing two cookbooks, “The Captains Table” and “Plank Cooking with Chef Selz”.

Chef Selz was a lecturing Instructor in culinary arts at The Culinary Institute of America (CIA). Chef Selz taught Culinary Skill Development, a class that focuses on the techniques of basic cookery and now through C.H.E.F. he is able to offer his talent and expertise to his clients.

Chef Selz is a 1992 graduate of The Culinary Institute of America. Before returning to his alma mater as a faculty member, he held various chef positions in Florida including the Polo Club of Boca Raton, Sheraton of Boca Raton, Mariner Sands Country Club in Stuart, Lackmann Food Service, Inc. in West Palm Beach, Eastpointe Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, and The Breakers Hotel in both Ft. Lauderdale and Palm Beach. He was also Garde Manger/Banquet chef at the Hyatt Regency in Hilton Head, SC.

In 1993 and 1994, Chef Selz served as personal chef for President Clinton.
